“Recent Iranian actions, including a provocative ballistic missile launch and an attack against a Saudi naval vessel conducted by Iran-supported Houthi militants, underscore what should have been clear to the international community all along about Iran’s destabilizing behavior across the Middle East.
The recent ballistic missile launch is also in defiance of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which calls upon Iran “not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology.
These are just the latest of a series of incidents in the past six months in which Houthi forces that Iran has trained and armed have struck Emirati and Saudi vessels, and threatened U.S. and allied vessels transiting the Red Sea. In these and other similar activities, Iran continues to threaten U.S. friends and allies in the region.
The Obama Administration failed to respond adequately to Tehran’s malign actions—including weapons transfers, support for terrorism, and other violations of international norms. The Trump Administration condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity, and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East and place American lives at risk.
President Trump has severely criticized the various agreements reached between Iran and the Obama Administration, as well as the United Nations – as being weak and ineffective.
Instead of being thankful to the United States for these agreements, Iran is now feeling emboldened.
As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice.”
“President Donald J. Trump Will Continue to Enforce Executive Order Protecting the Rights of the LGBTQ Community in the Workplace:
President Donald J. Trump is determined to protect the rights of all Americans, including the LGBTQ community. President Trump continues to be respectful and supportive of LGBTQ rights, just as he was throughout the election.
The President is proud to have been the first ever GOP nominee to mention the LGBTQ community in his nomination acceptance speech, pledging then to protect the community from violence and oppression.
The executive order signed in 2014, which protects employees from anti-LGBTQ workplace discrimination while working for federal contractors, will remain intact at the direction of President Donald J. Trump.”
US President Donald Trump has kept each of his campaign promises to this point, and when it comes to building the US/Mexico border wall, he once again, has not backed down!
Signing an executive order today, President Trump has confirmed that he will indeed BUILD THE WALL!
He will also end Federal grants which send taxpayer money to “sanctuary cities” that harbour illegal immigrants.
“A nation without borders is not a nation,” Trump said during a speech at DHS headquarters. “Beginning today, the United States of America gets back control of its borders.”
The president said his directive “will save thousands of lives, millions of jobs, and billions and billions of dollars.”
One of the orders signed by Trump calls for the construction of “a large physical barrier on the southern border,” according to White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
The other order deals with immigration enforcement and ends the “catch and release” policy that quickly returned border crossers back to Mexico instead of arresting and processing them for deportation. The policy was a fixture of the Bush administration and was later reinstated on an informal basis by former President Barack Obama.
“Federal agents are going to unapologetically enforce the law, no ifs, ands or buts,” Spicer said.
The immigration actions also seek to withhold visas from countries to make sure they take back people in the U.S. illegally who are found to have broken U.S. laws. It would also strip federal grants from “sanctuary” cities and states that do not enforce federal immigration laws.
“We’re going to strip federal grant money from the sanctuary states and cities that harbor illegal immigrants,” Spicer said.
Here are seven other elements of the Trump immigration executive action today:
1. Broaden Enforcement Priorities. According to Section 5(c), the Secretary of Homeland Security has now been granted the power to prioritize for removal those who “have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense.” This means anyone who has crossed the border illegally. Whereas under President Obama, other crimes were prioritized, now illegal presence in the country has become a priority for law enforcement. The executive action also extends prioritization to false use of a Social Security number, for example (Section 5(d)), or taking public benefits illegally (Section 5(e)).
2. Add Agents. The order grants the Secretary the ability to hire 10,000 additional law enforcement officers with money to be found under current allocations.
3. Allow States To Help Police Immigration. Whereas the Obama administration sued the Arizona state government for aiding in enforcement of federal immigration law, Section 8(b) of the order allows States and local law enforcement officials to “perform the functions of immigration officers in relation to investigation, apprehension, or detention of alients in the United States.”
4. Kills Funding To Sanctuary Cities. The jurisprudence on federal grants to states and cities is rather complex, but this executive action seeks to remove eligibility to receive federal grants if those jurisdictions refuse to comply with federal immigration law. The executive order also creates a public shaming capacity for the feds: they are to “make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens.”
5. Restoring The Secure Communities Program. The Obama administration originally had a program that allowed the feds to check immigration databases to see local offenders who were here illegally; Obama then killed this in favor of the Priority Enforcement Program, which put limitations on such communication. Trump is returning to the original system.
6. Make Foreign Negotiations Contingent on Acceptance of Repatriated Illegal Immigrants. Section 12 explicitly orders the Secretary of State to “ensure that diplomatic efforts and negotiations with foreign states include as a condition precedent the acceptance by those foreign states of their nationals who are subject to removal from the United States.”
7. Make Data More Transparent. The order directs the Secretary of Homeland Security and Attorney General to collect data on immigration status of all aliens incarcerated in federal prisons, as well as all federal pretrial detainees, as well as all convicted aliens in state and local prisons.
The weeks leading up to the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump will not be remembered as a “smooth transition period”. Instead, they will be remembered by the temper tantrum that has been thrown by the petulant man-child, President Barack Obama!
When President Obama preached to the crowd at a Hillary Clinton rally that:
“There’s no such thing as a vote that doesn’t matter. It all matters. And after we have achieved historic turnout in 2008 and 2012, especially in the African-American community, I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy, if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good sendoff? Go vote.”(To read the rest of his speech click this link)
He all but confirmed that he resides within a bubble, a bubble where his prized legacy will be remembered positively. Unfortunately for Obama, his bubble does not depict reality and his legacy will not be remembered favourably. In the same way that Nixon will always be remembered for Watergate, Clinton for “not having sexual relations with that woman” and Bush Jr. for the “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, this list depicts exactly what The Obama Legacy will be remembered by:
Since Obama delivered his legacy speech, Donald J. Trump has gone on to break the hearts of the safe space loving, pronoun discovering, moral highground claimers who put all of their eggs into Hillary Clinton’s deplorable basket and President Obama has promised, but failed to deliver a smooth transition of the Presidency of the United States.
Below are a list of the Death Throes of the defeated Obama regime (not in chronological order) that have recently been taken in what appear to be attempts at stifling the incoming Trump team:
Obama ditched the registry used to record the names off male immigrants from Islamic countries.
Obama signed off on the National Defense Authorization Act, federalizing all media. (2017 , “Countering Disinformation & Propaganda Act”)
Obama had the US abstain from the UN vote on Resolution 2334 (Israeli settlement resolution which results in the UN recognising Palestine as the rightful occupiers of every inch of East Jerusalem) and chose not to veto the vote, as had been policy of the US for decades when it came to anti-Israel resolutions.
Obama signed off on an agreement with Australia for a one time resettlement of 1600 refugees currently housed at Manus Island and Nauru in offshore detention.
Obama publicly announced that Russia “Hacked the presidential election” to tilt favour towards Donald J. Trump.
Obama ordered the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats from the US, giving them 72 hours to leave the country.
Obama blocked Russia from accessing compounds in Maryland and New York that are utilised by Russian personnel for “intelligence related purposes”.
Obama sanctioned the GRU and the FSB (2 Russian intelligence agencies), 4 GRU officers and 3 companies that Obama believes “provided material to support cyber operations” (in other words scapegoats over the Hillary Clinton email hacks leaks.
The responses we have received from Donald J. Trump (US), Vladimir Putin (Russia) and Benjamin Netanyahu (Israel) following President Obama’s recent actions have unsurprisingly given the people another promise of Obama’s that he failed to deliver.. HOPE.
Vladimir Putin has seemingly risen above the childish antics of Obama, and The Kremlin has not retaliated in any form. It is widely assumed that The Kremlin are simply biding their time and counting down to January 20th so that Russia and The US can finally begin to repair their relationship and move forward for the betterment of mankind.
Russia’s lack of retaliation hasn’t stopped CNN from continuing to publish Fake News in which they claim that The Kremlin ordered the closure of the Moscow school which the children of US ambassadors attend. Funny how Obama didn’t hold a press conference to condemn the actual Fake News.
It doesn’t take a genius to draw conclusions as to the reasons behind the continued publishing of Fake News by the network that was financially backing the Democrat Party as exposed during the election. Though something tells this writer that Vladimir Putin isn’t too fazed by Obama and CNN’s temper tantrum..
Below is a statement by Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.
December 30, 2016
We regard the recent unfriendly steps taken by the outgoing US administration as provocative and aimed at further weakening the Russia-US relationship. This runs contrary to the fundamental interests of both the Russian and American people. Considering the global security responsibilities of Russia and the United States, this is also damaging to international relations as a whole.
As it proceeds from international practice, Russia has reasons to respond in kind. Although we have the right to retaliate, we will not resort to irresponsible ‘kitchen’ diplomacy but will plan our further steps to restore Russian-US relations based on the policies of the Trump Administration.
The diplomats who are returning to Russia will spend the New Year’s holidays with their families and friends. We will not create any problems for US diplomats. We will not expel anyone. We will not prevent their families and children from using their traditional leisure sites during the New Year’s holidays. Moreover, I invite all children of US diplomats accredited in Russia to the New Year and Christmas children’s parties in the Kremlin.
It is regrettable that the Obama Administration is ending its term in this manner. Nevertheless, I offer my New Year greetings to President Obama and his family.
My season’s greetings also to President-elect Donald Trump and the American people.
I wish all of you happiness and prosperity.
British whistleblower and former operative Annie Machon has come out guns blazing and revealed that the joint FBI and DHS report that apparently “details” the alleged “hacking” of the US election (to have the results go in the favour of Republican nominee, Donald J. Trump) by Russia, saying that it’s simply another case of “Fake News” in order to sabotage Donald J. Trump’s presidency. see. British intelligence officer shuts down Obama’s Russian hacking claim.
There’s an old saying that a man is remembered not only by his actions, but his honour. When Obama began to throw what was left of his honour out the window in an attempt to undermine the man who is set to replace him, he didn’t gain respect, he didn’t gain honour, instead he further tarnished the legacy that he claimed meant so much to him.
