Out of 75 senators, only 6 voted to forego payrises until the federal government brings the budget back into surplus!
The Libs, Labor and Greens showed themselves to be the fat cats we know they are by putting their own salaries ahead of the Australian budget.
Interesting to note that senators and members receive an annual allowance by way of basic salaray – $199,040 from 1 January 2016.
Surely that’s an ample salary?
So you’re probably wondering who the senators were who voted to freeze their pay.. Actually, you’re probably not. It’s quite obvious who the 6 are!
Australian Conservatives Cory Bernardi
Liberal Democrats David Leyonhjelm
One Nation Pauline Hanson, Malcolm Roberts & Brian Burston
Independant Jacqui Lambie
The petulant parasitic puppet Richard Di Natale of The Greens said he was:
“sympathetic to the intent of the proposal but wanted it amended to freeze pay rises until the government was prepared to address inequality in Australia”
In other words he won’t take a pay freeze or heaven forbid a pay cut until the loony left stop crying over spilt milk and “inequality”…
Well, to Senator Di Natale, your Green and Labor cohorts, the Nick Xenophon Team and the rest of the fat cats in the Liberal Party (who still don’t know what their constituents want!)
I feel I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to send you a message on behalf of the vast majority of Australians:
The minister will scrap a deal, struck while Opposition Leader Bill Shorten was workplace relations minister, allowing major fast food outlets to import staff. It is the first time an entire sector has been banned from sponsoring overseas workers.
These workers will be forced to leave the country when their agreements terminate unless the fast-food outlet is able to mount an individual case as to why they should stay in the country.
More than 318 fast food outlets across the country have overseas workers behind the counter.
McDonald’s has flown in 285 foreign workers under the Fast Food Industry Labour Agreement, KFC has 88 foreigners on their books and Hungry Jack’s has hired at least 74 people.
“The fast food industry is one of the more common employers of school leavers and young people,” department advice stated.
Mr Dutton said the Coalition government had cut back on the number of 457 visas being issued from a peak of 110,000 in 2013 to about 90,000 now.
The countries where most foreign workers on 457 visas come from are India, the United Kingdom, China, the Philippines and Ireland.
The Daily Telegraph revealed in November that Labor had approved a little-known labour agreement to allow major fast food outlets to fly in overseas workers.
Fast food outlets will still be allowed to make formal requests for a foreign worker in exceptional circumstances.
Sussan Ley has been crucified (and rightfully so) for her lackadaisical attitude towards spending the tax-payers money, but she isn’t the only MP under fire, Julie Bishop also came under fire for her use of taxpayer dollars to attend a polo match.. What do they have in common? Female, Blonde.. Let’s look deeper, Oh.. That’s right! They’re both ministers for the Liberal Party.
Since the majority of the mainstream media are overlooking the expenditure of further left-wing politicians and expenses on issues close to the heart, such as Islamic dinners, we will!
Opposition Leader Bill (Once accused of raping a woman) Shorten claimed over $51,000 in taxpayer expenses in the first half of 2016 which he has claimed was for his family to be by his side during the election campaign and thus, we paid for them to fly alongside him.. My work sure doesn’t pay for my wife to travel around the countryside if I have to travel.. These numbers and this excuse have emerged just days after the Shorten lead Labor Party called the government’s refusal to outright sack Sussan Ley “weak”.. Now we’re all aware that the Labor Party and the word ‘hypocrisy’ go together like like bacon and eggs, but really?
Senator Penny Wong took the “moral” high ground and stated that:
“Instead of doing the right thing and moving to remove Ms Ley from his frontbench, to sack her from Cabinet, we have a Prime Minister who, yet again, goes for the weak option”
Well since the Senator does not believe taking the “weak option”, maybe she should personally push for the Labor party to crack down on their own expenditure, after all, how is it feasible for the public to believe that during the same length campaign, visiting the same number of cities, that opposition leader Bill Shorten could rack up a bill 3 times higher than that of the Prime Minister? But we know Senator Wong won’t call for Shorten to resign, and neither will the media!
Speaking of Senators that the media refuses to be honest about, Greens Senator Richard Di Natale spent a whopping $56,536 in taxpayer dollars, purely for 6 months worth of travel.. Lets be honest Dick, no one in this country outside of the Melbourne CBD is even remotely interested in anything you have to say, stop spending our money and shut your mouth!
The Greens “Community Services” Minister.. [WAIT! Why do The Greens even get “shadow ministers” with portfolio’s? You do nothing positive for this country and carrying around a “portfolio” won’t change that!] Rachel Siewert claimed an insane $63,934 which was even more than Foreign Minister Julie Bishop claimed, and now The Greens are trying to claim the moral high ground and are insisting that the government instates a new “Anti-Corruption Watchdog”with the purpose of stopping politicians from rorting the system.. The Greens can claim to be abiding by the expense laws and that they personally utilised taxpayer funds for “moral” causes, but it just doesn’t pass the pub test that a Greens Minister, who no one has heard of, Rachel Siewert could legitimately claim enough to rank her 5th in overall expenditure! Especially when their excuse that she lives in Western Australia and the flights are more expensive doesn’t hold weight, as she still outspent her Western Australian colleagues:
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop ($51,212)
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann ($50,638)
Fellow Greens Senator Scott Ludlam ($46,692)
Assistant Health Minister Ken Wyatt ($46,353)
Overall, only 4 sitting MP’s spent more in taxpayer funded expenses over the same time period:
Justice Minister Michael Keenan ($83,808)
Social Services Minister Christian Porter ($77,469)
Employment Minister Michaelia Cash ($73,550)
Labor leader Bill Shorten ($71,182)
All of whom, are ministers holding portfolio’s or the Opposition Leader who’s expenditure I previously called into question.
Expense spending aside, the biggest travesty is that Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull spent in excess of $30,000 on an Islamic Dinner last year where he invited should be criminal SheikShady Al-Suleiman, who once called for his God to “destroy the enemies of Islam” and stated publicly that homosexuality is “an act of evil” and that “adulterers should be stoned to death”.
Yes! Sussan Ley wasted taxpayer funds, has a string of dirty dealings surfacing as every hour passes and should face the full consequences coming to her, such as her being forced to resign from the position of Health Minister. But it’s not simply enough for Sussan Ley to have the law brought down upon her, we should pull all MP’s under the same scrutiny, Opposition leaders and waste of space politicians should not be outspending cabinet ministers and getting a free pass from the mainstream media!
Imagine the mainstream media’s “outrage” if Senator Pauline Hanson and One Nation stablemate, Senator Malcolm Roberts had spent $56,536 and $63,934 respectively (the amount spent by Di Natale and Siewert) I think we all know what would be the headline story tomorrow in every mainstream weekend newspaper.
Our “Peaceful Islamic neighbours to the north”, have suspended all military co-operation with Australia, apparently over “offensive material” that members of their military were exposed to whilst training in Australian SAS base in Perth. This comes just days after the Palestinian representative to Australia, Izzat Abdulhadi called for Islamic nations to sanction Australia and threatened “severe consequences”! see. Cut ABC funding until they support Australia instead of Palestinian terrorists.
The move has been reported by Indonesian media outlet, Kompas as due to:
Indonesian Special Forces instructor took offence to some “laminated material” at the Perth base, Kompas reported. The material was judged to be demeaning to Pancasila, Indonesia’s “ruling philosophy” and the principles on which the state was founded.”All forms of co-operation have been suspended and a broad range of activities would be affected,” Major General Wuryanto said.
To this writer there is a drawing parallel between the insignificance of the “reason” behind cutting military ties and the call for Islamic nations to “sanction Australia” / give us “severe consequences” after former Prime Minister Tony Abbott called for Australia to cease “aid donations” to Palestine that accumulate to over $40 million per year!
The mainstream media will fail to draw attention to this in the same way they failed to draw attention to the fact that our nation was threatened by the Palestinian representative.
To gain any respect from the Australian people, I personally urge Malcolm Turnbull and Julie Bishop to stand their ground and cut our over-zealous foreign aid program with Indonesia to show them that the Australian Military and the Australian people will not be walked over!
According to the Australian governments Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website, in the 2015 – 16 financial year we gifted Indonesia with approximately $379.1 million and in the 2016 – 17 financial year it is projected that we will gift them $365.7 million in “aid”.
Indonesia are a member of the G20 and thus the amount of “aid” they receive from Australia EVERY YEAR, is ridiculous!
The following graphs depict G20 countries.
It’s also quite interesting to note that Indonesia ranks 8th on the list of wealthiest Asian nations.
1. China: US$21.269 trillion (up 8% from 2015)
3. India: $8.721 trillion (up 9%)
4. Japan: $4.932 trillion (up 1.8%)
8. Indonesia: $3.028 trillion (up 6.3%)
13. South Korea: $1.929 trillion (up 4.1%)
20. Thailand: $1.161 trillion (up 4.6%)
21. Taiwan: $1.125 trillion (up 2.3%)
25. Pakistan: $988.2 billion (up 6.1%)
28. Malaysia: $863.8 billion (up 5.7%)
29. Philippines: $801.9 billion (up 7.8%)
33. Bangladesh: $628.4 billion (up 8.3%)
40. Singapore: $486.9 billion (up 3%)
For anyone who is unsure why I question the mainstream media’s love of referring to Indonesia as “our peaceful Islamic neighbours to the north” follow these links:
Indonesian military and police also systematically target any West Papuans campaigning for independence.
2017 has started off with a Australian politicalBANG!
Between Tony Abbott calling for a common sense approach to Palestinian “aid” and Peter Dutton and Pauline Hanson speaking out about fixing the Australian Citizenship tests and Cory Bernardi and Pauline Hanson discussing a possible political joint venture, it looks as though Australian politics is going to get very interesting in 2017!
Heres hoping that Malcolm Turnbull and Julie Bishop are finally able to hear the screams of the Australian people and actually put the will of the people above that of their globalist masters before this is our future!
The weeks leading up to the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump will not be remembered as a “smooth transition period”. Instead, they will be remembered by the temper tantrum that has been thrown by the petulant man-child, President Barack Obama!
When President Obama preached to the crowd at a Hillary Clinton rally that:
“There’s no such thing as a vote that doesn’t matter. It all matters. And after we have achieved historic turnout in 2008 and 2012, especially in the African-American community, I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy, if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good sendoff? Go vote.”(To read the rest of his speech click this link)
He all but confirmed that he resides within a bubble, a bubble where his prized legacy will be remembered positively. Unfortunately for Obama, his bubble does not depict reality and his legacy will not be remembered favourably. In the same way that Nixon will always be remembered for Watergate, Clinton for “not having sexual relations with that woman” and Bush Jr. for the “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, this list depicts exactly what The Obama Legacy will be remembered by:
Since Obama delivered his legacy speech, Donald J. Trump has gone on to break the hearts of the safe space loving, pronoun discovering, moral highground claimers who put all of their eggs into Hillary Clinton’s deplorable basket and President Obama has promised, but failed to deliver a smooth transition of the Presidency of the United States.
Below are a list of the Death Throes of the defeated Obama regime (not in chronological order) that have recently been taken in what appear to be attempts at stifling the incoming Trump team:
Obama ditched the registry used to record the names off male immigrants from Islamic countries.
Obama signed off on the National Defense Authorization Act, federalizing all media. (2017 , “Countering Disinformation & Propaganda Act”)
Obama had the US abstain from the UN vote on Resolution 2334 (Israeli settlement resolution which results in the UN recognising Palestine as the rightful occupiers of every inch of East Jerusalem) and chose not to veto the vote, as had been policy of the US for decades when it came to anti-Israel resolutions.
Obama signed off on an agreement with Australia for a one time resettlement of 1600 refugees currently housed at Manus Island and Nauru in offshore detention.
Obama publicly announced that Russia “Hacked the presidential election” to tilt favour towards Donald J. Trump.
Obama ordered the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats from the US, giving them 72 hours to leave the country.
Obama blocked Russia from accessing compounds in Maryland and New York that are utilised by Russian personnel for “intelligence related purposes”.
Obama sanctioned the GRU and the FSB (2 Russian intelligence agencies), 4 GRU officers and 3 companies that Obama believes “provided material to support cyber operations” (in other words scapegoats over the Hillary Clinton email hacks leaks.
The responses we have received from Donald J. Trump (US), Vladimir Putin (Russia) and Benjamin Netanyahu (Israel) following President Obama’s recent actions have unsurprisingly given the people another promise of Obama’s that he failed to deliver.. HOPE.
Vladimir Putin has seemingly risen above the childish antics of Obama, and The Kremlin has not retaliated in any form. It is widely assumed that The Kremlin are simply biding their time and counting down to January 20th so that Russia and The US can finally begin to repair their relationship and move forward for the betterment of mankind.
Russia’s lack of retaliation hasn’t stopped CNN from continuing to publish Fake News in which they claim that The Kremlin ordered the closure of the Moscow school which the children of US ambassadors attend. Funny how Obama didn’t hold a press conference to condemn the actual Fake News.
It doesn’t take a genius to draw conclusions as to the reasons behind the continued publishing of Fake News by the network that was financially backing the Democrat Party as exposed during the election. Though something tells this writer that Vladimir Putin isn’t too fazed by Obama and CNN’s temper tantrum..
Below is a statement by Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.
December 30, 2016
We regard the recent unfriendly steps taken by the outgoing US administration as provocative and aimed at further weakening the Russia-US relationship. This runs contrary to the fundamental interests of both the Russian and American people. Considering the global security responsibilities of Russia and the United States, this is also damaging to international relations as a whole.
As it proceeds from international practice, Russia has reasons to respond in kind. Although we have the right to retaliate, we will not resort to irresponsible ‘kitchen’ diplomacy but will plan our further steps to restore Russian-US relations based on the policies of the Trump Administration.
The diplomats who are returning to Russia will spend the New Year’s holidays with their families and friends. We will not create any problems for US diplomats. We will not expel anyone. We will not prevent their families and children from using their traditional leisure sites during the New Year’s holidays. Moreover, I invite all children of US diplomats accredited in Russia to the New Year and Christmas children’s parties in the Kremlin.
It is regrettable that the Obama Administration is ending its term in this manner. Nevertheless, I offer my New Year greetings to President Obama and his family.
My season’s greetings also to President-elect Donald Trump and the American people.
I wish all of you happiness and prosperity.
British whistleblower and former operative Annie Machon has come out guns blazing and revealed that the joint FBI and DHS report that apparently “details” the alleged “hacking” of the US election (to have the results go in the favour of Republican nominee, Donald J. Trump) by Russia, saying that it’s simply another case of “Fake News” in order to sabotage Donald J. Trump’s presidency. see. British intelligence officer shuts down Obama’s Russian hacking claim.
There’s an old saying that a man is remembered not only by his actions, but his honour. When Obama began to throw what was left of his honour out the window in an attempt to undermine the man who is set to replace him, he didn’t gain respect, he didn’t gain honour, instead he further tarnished the legacy that he claimed meant so much to him.
